Argon welding operator • Ratnagiri, State of Maharashtra

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Ratnagiri, State of Maharashtra. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. You should bring able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard; ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
