The role involves: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
