Great opportunity: we are hiring a power press operator in Gajapati, State of Odisha. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Day to day you will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
