You should bring able to read wiring diagrams confidently; steady hands for soldering fine connections. On a typical shift you will trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults; replace ABS, oxygen and crankshaft sensors; diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner; read and clear ECU fault codes; repair headlights, indicators and brake-light circuits.
