Great opportunity: we are hiring a roofing labourer in Kathua, State of Jammu and Kashmir. The job is at a sheet metal roofing workshop. Requirements: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls The role involves set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights. ₹26,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
