Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage The role involves pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod.
