Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • A good head for heights for tower crane work The role involves: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
