Rigging foreman — Chennai

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Chennai, State of Tamil Nadu. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Six days a week, one day off.
