Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment presser in District Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. You will be based at a garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Six days a week, one day off.
