We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Bankura, West Bengal. You will work at a private estate garden. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Your main tasks: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. ₹15,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
