We are recruiting: we are hiring a canteen cook in Mansa, State of Punjab. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Your main tasks: • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes You should bring able to read and follow recipes and dockets; familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
