Now hiring: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Kondagaon, State of Chhattisgarh. We are looking for comfortable working at height on scaffolding; reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets; physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day. The role involves pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go.
