Lifting rigger — Udalguri

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Udalguri, Assam. The role involves secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles 2+ years on the tools preferred. ₹1,700 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
