Immediate opening: shakeout operator (State of Punjab)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Mansa, State of Punjab. You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 4+ years on the tools preferred.
