Shakeout operator — West Garo Hills

Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in West Garo Hills, Meghalaya. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Day to day you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. You should bring able to read simple casting drawings and job cards; basic grinding and fettling skills; physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. ₹200 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
