The role involves: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders 5+ years on the tools preferred.
