Safety marshal — Thoothukkudi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety marshal in Thoothukkudi, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. We are looking for sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations; valid first aid and basic firefighting training; NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate. On a typical shift you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry.
