You should bring willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis; comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas. The role involves charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely; sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris; carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics; read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit; log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book; assist with stock takes and cycle counting.
