Finishing presser • Krishnagiri, State of Tamil Nadu

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in Krishnagiri, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Your main tasks: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron You should bring comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment; able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₹23,000 per project, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts.
