Foundry operative — Latehar

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry operative in Latehar, State of Jharkhand. On a typical shift you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. Ideally you have comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal; physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
