Bricklayer — Sheikhpura

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Sheikhpura, State of Bihar. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Day-to-day duties: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Full-time, day shift.
