Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Tehri Garhwal, State of Uttarakhand. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day to day you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise.
