You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Your main tasks: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Rotating shifts.
