Urgent requirement: moulder (State of Jammu and Kashmir)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Kathua, State of Jammu and Kashmir. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces You should bring comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal; willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor; physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings.
