Immediate opening: furniture maker (State of Himachal Pradesh)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furniture maker in Sirmaur, State of Himachal Pradesh. You should bring NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent; physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height; at least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience. On a typical shift you will assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw.
