Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in Botad, State of Gujarat. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently 4+ years on the tools preferred. ₹12,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
