Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters The role involves work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; refuel the machine and record running hours.
