Delivery truck driver — Sangrur

Join our team: we are hiring a delivery truck driver in Sangrur, State of Punjab. You will work at a busy distribution depot. Ideally you have confident with manual handling and load securing; minimum 2 years' long-haul experience; physically fit for long hours behind the wheel. On a typical shift you will report defects and book the unit in for servicing; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
