Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Peren, State of Nagaland. The job is on a busy residential building site. You should bring willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates; comfortable working at height and in deep excavations; confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire. The role involves: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Part-time with flexible hours.
