Scaffolding labourer • East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya. The job is at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang The role involves: • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class Part-time with flexible hours.
