Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Chitradurga, State of Karnataka. Your main tasks: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Six days a week, one day off.
