You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Your main tasks: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose 3+ years on the tools preferred.
