Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. Ideally you have steady hands and good close-up eyesight; comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances; able to read isometric and fabrication drawings. Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
