Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Dimapur, State of Nagaland. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Day to day you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Part-time with flexible hours.
