Rigging foreman — Vishakhapatnam

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Vishakhapatnam, State of Andhra Pradesh. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites You will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
