Dogger — Uttarkashi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a dogger in Uttarkashi, State of Uttarakhand. You will work at a shipyard. Ideally you have proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites; valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket. On a typical shift you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear.
