We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Hnahthial, Mizoram. Day-to-day duties: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman You should bring sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing; aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. ₹20,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
