Immediate opening: production welder (Assam)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Morigaon, Assam. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On the job you will handle: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration You should bring ITI in welder trade or equivalent; steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Share your details and we will call you back.
