Now hiring: we are hiring a quality checker in Karaikal, Union Territory of Puducherry. You should bring able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols; able to stand for full shifts on the production floor; confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges. Your main tasks: • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer 1+ years on the tools preferred.
