Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Day to day you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. Ideally you have willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor; physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. ₹600 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
