On the job you will handle: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash You should have: • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Rotating shifts.
