Now hiring: we are hiring a site carpenter in Begusarai, State of Bihar. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers On the job you will handle: • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
