Now hiring: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Bijapur, State of Karnataka. You will be based at an accident repair centre. Ideally you have keen attention to detail and a steady hand; good eye for colour matching and blending; sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners. Day to day you will sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
