Abattoir worker — Kannur

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Kannur, State of Kerala. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. On a typical shift you will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. You should bring quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths; able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler; 2+ years experience working as a butcher.
