Carpenter — Salem

Immediate opening: we are hiring a carpenter in Salem, State of Tamil Nadu. You will work on a busy construction site. You should bring sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings; confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers; at least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience. On the job you will handle: • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. ₹210 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
