Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Day-to-day duties: • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points Pay around ₹38,500 per month, based on your experience.
