Industrial sewing operator — Bijnor

Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Your main tasks: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line 1+ years on the tools preferred.
