Refrigeration and AC mechanic — Katihar

On the job you will handle: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Clean condenser and evaporator coils Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
