We are recruiting: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Majuli, Assam. The job is at a cold storage facility. The role involves install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness. You should bring confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane; able to read construction drawings and specifications; working-at-height certificate an advantage.
