Urgent requirement: we are hiring a joiner in Purnia, State of Bihar. You will be based on a commercial fit-out site. On the job you will handle: • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet Requirements: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. ₹28,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
